We offer both full value protection (FVP) and standard protection coverage as well as storage insurance. (Depending on the new law, this could change in July to where we may not need to offer standard coverage anymore.) Standard protection is provided at no additional cost to all customers. We assume liability for no more than 60 cents per pound per article for loss or damage. However, we also encourage you to consider full value protection if your belongings are of more value to you. In the unlikely event that your items are lost, damaged, or destroyed, with full value protection they will be either repaired or replaced at A-1’s discretion. The cost of full value protection is based on the value of your items. With our storage insurance, in addition to the FVP, we can give you full coverage for "Acts of God" like hurricanes and tornados. This kind of coverage is uncommon and not available from most storage facilities but is available to you as an A-1 customer.
